We have been super blessed today. We were able to disconnect Halley from the equipment and let her walk and play for a couple hours. Shortly after that she had a HUGE bowel movement - sweet! she was also able to pee quite a bit today. We are so excited! She threw up once after lunch but overall she was able to take in significantly more than she lost. She has been super happy and playful today. She was almost nice to one of the nurses today too! It's been so nice to see her act like herself again.
Thank you all for all of your concern. I know it has been all our prayers and faith in Christ that has made the biggest difference.
We love you all, Joe

Words cannot express our family's excitement about Halley looking so well. It means the world to see her have an overall good day. It's an answer to our prayers. We're so grateful for her improvements! We continue to pray for dear, little Halley.
Love, Grandma and Grandpa
Look at her being so sick and still so fashionable!!! Now that's the sign of a true princess.
Joe and Celeste, This has been quite the ordeal for your sweet family. I am so sorry I can't be there to take over and let you get sleep from time to time. Although this has been so scary and hard for our little Halley, sometimes these become some of the most precious memories in life. Ones where we grow closer to Heavenly Father because we are on our knees much more. One where we thank our Father just that much more for the precious gifts he has blessed us with.
We love you all so much. Please tell Halley that her aunt Megan thinks she is perfect and such a little trooper!
Love you all, Meg
